The ATBA Fall Sales Stakes Futurity Trials will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, which is opening day for the upcoming 2014-2015 Turf Paradise meet. The finals will be run on Sunday, Nov. 2.
The Arizona Breeders’ Futurity Trials will be run Wednesday, Nov. 19. The Arizona Breeders’ Futurity finals will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, as part of the Fall Breeders’ Day card that also features the Cactus Wren and Cactus Flower stakes.
The next ATBA Board Meeting has been set for Saturday, Oct. 25. It will be held 10 a.m., at the ATBA office at the Turf Paradise.

Mike Harlow has been named the director of racing/racing secretary at Turf Paradise for the 2014-2015 meet, slated to begin on Oct. 18. Shawn Schwartz will serve as Harlow’s assistant. Harlow had served as racing secretary at Turf Paradise from 1994 to 1999, prior to filling that role at Santa Anita through 2011.
