Yo Y Me adds Lost in the Fog Stakes

Yo Y Me

Yo Y Me

In a courageous effort, Yo Y Me scored a narrow victory in the Lost in the Fog Juvenile on Dec. 31 at Turf Paradise to win his fourth straight race, adding to earlier victories in the Arizona Breeders’ Futurity and ATBA Fall Sales Stakes.

After bouncing out to an early lead, the Dixie Chatter gelding was shadowed into the stretch by a dogged All Shacked Up, who took a narrow lead at one point before Yo Y Me asserted control and began to edge away. Wine N Divine nearly ran down the pacesetters, but Yo Y Me held on to win by a neck in 1:17:45 for six and a half furlongs on a rain-dampened track officially labeled “Good.”

Bred by Fleming Thoroughbred Farm and owned by trainer Kevin Eikleberry, William Matthews and J. Lloyd Yother, Yo Y Me has finished third or better in all eight career starts.
